Of course, the X100V was not available, yet, so I rented the previous X100F, mostly to get a feeling on the ergonomics. In the past weekends I've rented them both (thanks to Light+Byte, I really appreciated the service), one per weekend, to play directly with the cameras and with the files out of them.
Yeah, they're different in many ways, but what I'm looking for is something compact, immediate, with good quality and, most of all, cool and comfortable ergonomics. Of course, with an eye to quality.Īfter some fiddling, I narrowed down my research to two cameras: X100V and X-T30 with a 35mm f/1.4.
I'm not looking for a replacement, but for something more portable, for casual to random shooting. I'd like something different from my current base system, a Canon 80D, for which I have already a good set of lenses and accessories. Since a while now, I'm playing with the idea of getting a Fujifilm digital camera.
